The students will interact with a building that is designed with energy focus in mind, where the heating and cooling is facilitated by a geothermal system that takes advantage of the earths constant temperature, where the building itself will achieve 45 percent greater energy efficiency, and where runoff rain water will be collected then processed through a water recycling center for reuse inside the building.

Airport. It is one hour from the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. The Menomonie Municipal airport is Transport/Corporate classified facility and has a new (2010) terminal building.
