The Dunn County Economic Development Corporation is accepting applications for the position of Executive Director. Dunn County (pop. 44,617) is a micropolitan statistical area located in west central Wisconsin.

Responsibilities include promoting the economic growth and stability of Dunn County and its communities, maintaining effective relationships with current and potential public and private sources of funding for the EDC's operation, maintaining contact with EDC stakeholders and officials from federal, state, and local agencies and for­ profit and non?profit organizations to cement mutually advantageous relationships, encouraging and working with both in state and out of state businesses to expand, develop, or relocate facilities in or to the Dunn County area, promoting the County's communities to interested businesses and industrial entities, assisting the Board of Directors with strategic planning and implementation of policy, and possessing the necessary managerial skills to organize, supervise, and maintain the office of the DCEDC.

Desired qualifications: Candidates must excel at relationship management and have the ability to work independently with Board direction.  Leadership skills, interpersonal communications skills and the ability to communicate with C-level executives are critical.  Candidate must also possess strong organizational skills and the capacity to effectively manage the corporation’s finances.  A Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years minimum experience is preferred.
