In Northwestern Wisconsin, a serious shortage of engineers prompted three University of Wisconsin system schools—Stout, Eau Claire and River Falls—to form a unique collaboration called the Northwest Wisconsin Engineering Consortium.

The overarching goal of the Consortium is to graduate more engineers who are willing to stay in the local area. “There’s a great unmet need of almost 600 unfilled mechanical engineers in northwest Wisconsin and nearly as many unfilled electrical engineering positions,” says Robert Meyer, UW-Stout chancellor.

UW-Stout has a phenomenal engineer job placement rate of 100 percent! Find out more about the Consortium’s proactive plan. http://ow.ly/Opnp2
