Downtown Neighbors: Red Dragon Academy teaches more than martial arts

Among the antique stores, specialty shops and dining establishments of downtown Menomonie, there is also a location where you can learn how to do a round kick — Red Dragon Academy, an independent martial arts studio owned by Bobby McRaven.
Following 18 years of martial arts experience that allowed him to exmaine the traits of successful studios, McRaven purchased Red Dragon Academy in January 2015. His studio at 438 Main Street focuses on four core values: honor, respect, discipline and self-defense. In the surroundings of his professional and welcoming studio, his daily goal is to “provide customers with the best experience possible.”
