Power Partnerships allow graduates to stay local!

4 Apr 2016

Three schools have created one partnership that will pave the path to address the needs for the region in a collaborative and supportive manner. UW-Stout, UW-Eau Clair, and UW-River Falls need to produce more engineers through their Northwest Wisconsin Engineering Consortium, a unique collaboration program.

The thought is that locally-educated engineers tend to stay local, thus helping businesses and industries with a greater pool of applicants.  Local concerns show that it’s difficult to attract engineers out of Madison, Milwaukee or even the Twin Cities.

This partnership will allow for students to transfer credits between the three schools.  In addition, the consortium will allow for other opportunities to support the research and needs of the schools and regional businesses.  Learn more! http://ow.ly/106wrC
