CVTC - Energy Education Center

As demand increases and technological processes improve, renewable energy is becoming more and more important in the world.  The Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) is committed to increasing and improving program offerings. The Energy Education Center will house renewable energy and energy efficiency demonstration, applied research, and a training facility supporting innovation and economic development.  

The Energy Education Center was designed to be a learning laboratory in diverse programs and apprenticeships. The 54,000 square-foot facility is pursuing USGBC LEED® certification due to sustainable features that include, light pollution reduction, thermal comfort, on-site renewable energy, increased ventilation, and so much more.  Learn more!
