The great thing about a toolbox is the creation, maintenance and repair of things that can be accomplished with the tools it holds — provided the correct guidance is provided. There may be different types of toolboxes; they all hold tools of one type or another. The toolbox and the tools of an oil rig worker look much different from those of an electrical technician.

In economic development — particularly working with entrepreneurs, often our greatest tools are not inanimate utensils held in some a box or chest. They tend to be warm-blooded, flesh and blood individuals who have who have skills, talents and the desire to share. In most cases, these individuals are entrepreneurs themselves.
