Business and industry need the best and brightest worker to insure that the businesses will succeed. How can businesses find this type of talent? The UW-Stout Career Service’s program may be the answer.

The number one recruitment tool at UW-Stout is the Co-op (internship) program. UW-Stout has an incredibly strong program with more than 900 students participating in this experience each year. Many employers collaborate each year with UW-Stout to find talented students who need a co-op experience in their field of study.

These are paid positions in which the student receives real-world experience within their field. The employer determines the rate of pay-averages by major. Some students are then expected to complete 320 hours of work, while the figure is 400 hours for Retail Merchandising and Management and Applied Mathematics and Computer Science students.
