Chuck Bomar has been appointed dean of the College of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Management at the University of Wisconsin-Stout beginning July 1 following a national search, Provost Patrick Guilfoile announced.

Bomar serves as dean of the College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The dean search was necessitated by the reorganization of UW-Stout’s colleges, resulting in the number of colleges being reduced from four to three. The reorganization saved taxpayers and students $360,000.
