Intro Bond Finance Course
Join CDFA this March 11-12, 2010 in Washington, DC for the Intro Bond Finance Course. This course provides an in-depth look at tax-exempt financing with an emphasis on industrial development bonds (IDBs), 501(c)(3) non-profit bonds, new clean renewable energy bonds (NCREBs) and other special bond programs authorized by the federal government. Plus, this course looks at how FHLB Credit Enhancement Provisions are positively impacting bond transactions all across the country.
Profit 101: Growth Training

Council of Development Finance Agencies Annual Development Finance Summit

Agricultural Development and Diversification Grants
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection invites project proposals to the Agricultural Development and Diversification (ADD) Grant Program that will stimulate the Wisconsin food and agriculture industry through the research and exploration of new products, new markets and new technologies. Proposals must be received in the Division of Agricultural Development at the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, by 5:00 p.m., March 15, 2010. Federal funding for Broadband deployment
“High-speed broadband is an important competitive tool for both start-up and existing businesses and a benefit for citizens across Wisconsin,” said Wisconsin Department of Commerce Secretary Richard J. Leinenkugel. “Both public and private entities can apply for funding under these programs.” The US Department of Commerce, National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP), funded at $2.6 billion, provides grants for deploying broadband infrastructure in unserved and underserved areas of the United States, enhancing broadband capacity at public computer centers, and promoting sustainable broadband adoption projects. The US Department of Agriculture, Rural Utilities Service (RUS) Broadband Initiatives Program (BIP), funded at $2.2 billion, provides grants and loans to facilitate broadband deployment in rural communities. Application packages for electronic submissions will be available at http://www.broadbandusa.gov.
