Here in Wisconsin, we don’t wait for the government to do things for us. We take action, form partnerships, and work as a community to achieve our goals. This is exactly what is happening in cities throughout our state. With a pressing need for increased broadband access, Red Cedar township applied for a grant that could be used for broadband expansion. Colfax township has successfully done so by working with CenturyLink and West Wisconsin/24/7 is also working with cities and townships to expand broadband access.
