Schmit Prototypes is a great example of a Western Wisconsin business that is making a serious impact in the world. The rapid prototyping company serves the medical, military, and consumer product industries. Services include machining, casting, tooling, molding, design, and finishing.
The company and has been around for 30 years. Their 28,000 square foot Menomonie facility houses a state of the art workplace that employs over 30 people. And now Schmit Prototypes is working on a 75-foot by 110-foot metal building expansion.
